So I have tried looking for Mycelium for the Volume 3, or is it on the different name? Really curious to know about it since the Halloween 2014 soap will smell like it.
ReplyDeleteHey there - Mycelium has not been released - it was brought out as part their installation for the new perfumes but has not officially been made available for us to buy. I would like to see it come out at some point though :)
DeleteMycelium and Cyanide won't be getting released, sadly. Though, they smell AMAZING on the skin.
ReplyDeleteDo you have the smell after rain perfume or something along those lines? I've heard really mixed reviews, some say it does smell like the ground after rain and others say it's just like a cheap aftershave.
ReplyDeleteHey, I have the perfume, and I can tell you that it starts off really strange. It's a really strong, medicinal mint smelling it out the bottle. If I wave the vial around and smell it that way, it's almost like smelling hose water, but still very minty and a little harsh. It's something I would have never bought if I had tried it in-store.
DeleteBut after like, half an hour, it matures into this very beautiful, sweet, warm hay scent that is just very nice and comforting. It's like Jekyll and Hyde in perfume form, total opposites in the same entity; it's my favorite perfume and I need to buy like, 20 bottles from the UK site since I live way off in Pennsylvania.
I don't think Jen will review the perfume, since it's not vegan (thanks to the beeswax). it's a love it or hate it kind of perfume, but if you try it, give it like a full day to really appreciate the development.
