Tumeric Roll Fresh Facial Cleanser

Whilst running around like a headless mock chicken at the Lush Showcase last month, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a small tray of new facial cleansers that many consumers I'm sure would have overlooked. Placed in between the likes of Dark Angels and Angel On Bare Skin, Tumeric Roll didn't immediately stand out as being a brand new product. In fact, until I began using it in the shower a few days ago, I was convinced that it was just Angels On Bare Skin with a different design on top.

In all fairness, this facial cleanser is a bit of a mystery. With no sign of the ingredients in sight, and staff only being able to tell me that it contained turmeric, I had no idea what skin type it was designed for, or what was special about this one that made it different from all of the regular ones we've been enjoying for years. However, having used it consecutively for the last seven days, I have definitely discovered many important aspects that I'll share with you now.

Firstly, despite the cleanser being a murky green colour, Tumeric Roll contains a very high dosage of turmeric. As soon as I started massaging it across my face, I could both smell and feel the bitter, slightly spicy aroma of the spice. It wasn't at all pungent, which is important because I know how dominating the ingredient can be if you add too much to a recipe. Instead, I felt a gentle heat across my face, which would have helped to open up my pores while the other ingredients cleaned away any dirt or debris.

Tumeric is known for its anti-inflammatory qualities, so this cleanser will help to calm the skin; help to eradicate acne or redness; and may even reduce scarring over time. While I only tend to get a couple of spots every month, I found that I could see a noticeable difference within a day or using this in the morning. The redness had faded so that the spot wasn't so obvious on my face, and it had completely gone by the third morning.

Alongside this, I also believe that there is lavender present - perhaps even more so than the turmeric itself. This works alongside the turmeric to calm and sooth the skin, leaving it ready to face the day ahead. If you're someone who uses Angel On Bare Skin regularly, you'd definitely like to alternate between the two of these to get maximum results from your cleanser. Having said that, I didn't find this one left my face looking as radiant afterwards, or feeling as moisturised as the aforementioned cleanser is.

What was great about Turmeric Roll was that I needed very little for each morning: a large raisin-sized amount was surplus enough for me to massage it across my whole face. The small roll that I purchased, which equates to a  regular tub-sized amount, would easily last me a couple of months with daily use.

Furthermore, because of how gentle it is on the skin, you could use this one every day on your face and not have to worry about irritating or over-pampering your complexion. Having said that, if you're someone who's looking for more plumper, nourishing feeling skin, you may wish to alternate between this and Let The Good Times Roll to achieve this. Much like Angels On Bare Skin, this cleanser isn't particularly scratchy at all, but it does offer a very gentle exfoliation across the face.

Overall, I have really enjoyed using this, as I feel as if my pores have been thoroughly cleaned out after making this a part of my daily routine. If Turmeric Roll was added to the regular cleanser range, I would definitely consider buying this, and alternating between two different cleansers to ensure my skin was always left super clean and nourished at the same time.

Spring Cleanser Facial Cleanser

For those of you who watch my weekly videos about the Kitchen menu, you'll know that I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when it came to Spring Cleanser Facial Cleanser. Near enough every review I was able to find online convinced me that I was going to hate the product - that I was going to be left with a greasy face and rocking a smell that wouldn't exactly help me to make any new friends.

In situations such as this, a normal consumer would no doubt turn their nose up at purchasing any of the product in question, and opt to save their money for something that sounded more promising. Given that I'm neither normal, nor would I be considered a 'normal consumer', I chose to invest in a couple of bottles, and in hindsight I wish I'd ordered more.

This golden oldie, which has been hidden from the public for a good number of years, is definitely an acquired taste, and I can understand why so many people have slated it for its smell. While it's in no way disgusting, it did take me a few mornings to get used to the fact that I was using something so foodie-smelling, instead of my usual 9 To 5 that I have been using for years.

With the key ingredient being a cucumber infusion, and also featuring fresh cucumber juice in the mix, it's no wonder that the cleanser has a strong but equally refreshing cucumber aroma. It's easily the strongest element to the fragrance, and while the salad vegetable is not known for having an overly potent scent to begin with, its crisp and very clean aroma is definitely at the forefront of this limited edition lotion.

Imagine blending together an entire cucumber and adding in a spoonful of chamomile oil to give the mixture a delicate floral aroma, and you may just get a sense of what this cleanser smells like. It reminds me slightly of the fragrant cucumber facial wipes you can purchase in any regular supermarket, yet this has a more impressive longevity, is better for the environment and features less nasty chemicals.

As with 9 To 5, I use this in one of two ways. Most days, I collect a small grape-size amount on my fingers and massage the lotion across my face - using a flat cotton pad to remove any make-up present before applying my toner spray and moisturiser. However, at times when I am heavily made up, I tend to squirt an amount directly onto the cotton pad, which saturates the material and offers me a little more product to work with.

With Spring Cleanser, I found that it took a little more pressure to remove any stubborn make up around my eyes, and I found myself using a little more of the product to achieve the same results as my aforementioned favourite cleanser. Consistency wise, this lotion is very slightly thicker than 9 To 5 but thinner than Starcraft, and very easy to apply to the skin.

In its favour, it leaves your skin feeling really cool and crisp afterwards, and made my face feel like it had a light layer of oils across the surface for protection throughout the day. My complexion definitely seemed a little more radiant than usual after using this, and my skin seemed plumper, smoother and slightly suppler.

While the foodie smell does remain for a short time after application, I noticed that the fragrance faded dramatically after I had applied my facial moisturiser, and within an hour of being at work, I could no longer detect the cucumber at all. However, the impact of the cleanser remained with me for the most part of the day, and after using this product every day for a good many weeks, I found that the condition of my face began to improve a little and become more naturally radiant.

With ingredients to cleanse, soften and brighten the skin, Spring Cleanser made a much better impression on me than I was initially expecting it to. Not only did it clean out my pores and clear traces of any make-up that was still attached at the end of the day, the inclusion of chamomile offered a soothing respite to go to bed with. Although I would not choose this product over my normal staple cleanser, it's definitely far from the awful product I was expecting it to be, and it'll make a welcome difference to my routine for the next six months.

Quantitative Ingredients: Fresh Cucumber Infusion, Fresh Spring Water, Almond Oil, Stearic Acid, Fresh Cucumber juice, Violet Leaf Absolute, Fennel Oil, Oakmoss Absolute, Chamomile Blue Oil, Triethanolamine Cetearyl Alcohol, Oakmoss Extract, *Linalool, Perfume, Methylparaben Propylparaben.

Enzynamite Facial Cleanser

When I found out that this product was being made in the Lush Kitchen, I was so excited to get my hands on a tub or two - not because it was a cleanser I was  particularly fussed about trying, but because it was something completely new that hadn't seen the light of day in a good few many years. While I love all of the 'classic' products that have been made multiple times over the expanse of the Kitchen's two year existence, the weekly menus were beginning to get a little stale.

From the deepest, darkest crevices of the company's vaults, very little is known about Enzynamite Facial Cleanser, unless you were lucky enough to experience it all those years ago when it was a regular product featured in the shops and online. Described as a powerful cleanser, this is supposedly suitable for normal to oily skin, with the ingredients designed to both absorb excess oils and leave you with a toned and radiant looking complexion.

What sets this apart from all of Lush's current facial cleansers is the emphasis that this needs to be stored in the fridge - something you're normally only expected to do with the company's fresh face masks. Furthermore, the consistency of this product also matches that of a mask as opposed to a cleanser - a factor that confused me a little at first. It seems that Lush have come a long way with their product design over the years...

Packed full of fresh fruit, you'd imagine that this cleanser would smell incredible, in theory. However, when I removed the lid of the tub for the first time, I was rather taken back by the fragrance that greeted me. While reviews online suggested quite a vast expanse of theories for what this product smelled like, none of them quite prepared me for the aroma of Enzynamite.

To me, this facial cleanser smells very similar to Volcano Foot Mask, with the only difference being that this has a stronger note of pineapple to make it slightly more citrusy, but not by much. While I wouldn't say it is an ideal smell for smothering on your face, it's definitely far from some of the terrifying descriptions that some consumers have reported it as being.

Featuring kaolin to absorb any excess grease, this miracle ingredient also works at leaving your skin soft and smooth to the touch. The various fruits - pineapple, papaya, lime and orange, then work on cleansing the pores and leaving you with a clear and radiant complexion; the wheatgerm oil adding a slightly nutty note to the aroma while supplying the mask with a generous helping of vitamin E to protect and repair the skin.

Boasting the consistency of lumpy porridge, this cleanser is easy to apply - simply scooping up a small grape-sized amount and massaging it across your face. While there are small flecks throughout the product  this is not a rough cleanser at all so don't expect to get any sort of exfoliation when using this. Once applied, leave it get to work on your skin for a few minutes before rinsing it off under the running water and patting your skin dry with a towel.

After a few minutes I noticed that my face felt a little taut: not the dry feeling I've often experienced when using many of Lush's soaps, instead similar to how my skin felt after using Dark Angels - a cleanser also designed for oilier skin. As to be expected from the product, it removes excess oils from the complexion, so if like me you don't have a lot of moisture to lose, your face can end up feeling a little 'stiff'.

Having said that, this cleanser did leave my complexion looking smoother and there was definitely a slight glow about my face that I appreciated greatly. Using this may mean I'd have to moisturise most days after drying myself down, but Enzynamite would ensure that my pores were clear at all times, which in turn would keep my skin clean as well as smooth.

While it may not be good enough to replace my favourites; Angels On Bare Face and Buche De Noel, it's definitely more effective on my face than some of the other cleansers from the regular range and I will enjoy using my two tubs over the coming months.

Quantitative Ingredients: Glycerine, Kaolin, Wheatgerm Oil, Fresh Pineapple, Fresh Papaya, Fresh Lime, Sweet Orange Oil.

Vegan?: Yes.

Baby Face Facial Cleanser

When I first purchased a Sweet Japanese Girl Solid Facial Cleanser, I was a little perplexed as to how I was supposed to use the product properly. Online research only hindered my knowledge on the subject because I found so many opposing suggestions, and Lush themselves didn't really give any indication of a definitive way to use it effectively. Luckily, through a mixture of trial and error, I discovered the best way of using the solid bar, which ultimately produced great results.

When it came to Baby Face, I was already armed with the know-how and had high expectations about what the product would heed, especially given my positive experience with other solid cleansers.

Although this doesn't really have anything to do with the effectiveness of the product, and certainly wouldn't influence my overall opinion on the cleanser, I find this solid cleanser rather creepy. There's something oddly evil-looking about the face, despite it's wonderfully light fragrance and gentle texture.

Made using a combination of cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado butter and extra virgin coconut oil, this collection of natural body conditioners help to moisturise and soften your skin, without clogging up your pores with preservatives or other chemical ingredients. Avocado butter is a rich, nourishing element that melts very easily at body temperature, helping to make Baby Face a really effective solid alternative; the coconut oil compliments the fruit's natural moisturising properties and helps to soften and soothe irritated or dried skin. Altogether, these different butters and oils work really well at removing dirt that's clogging pores and helps the skin to replace this with the natural moisture needed to give you a clean and clear complexion.

As well as the moisturising properties, Baby Face also contains tangerine oil, which not only gives it a wonderful scent, but helps to flush out unwanted debris nestling in your pores. It also tones your skin, revitalises your complexion and leaves it feeling rejuvenated and uplifted, while the vanilla absolute compliments the sweet orange scent and leaves you feeling beautiful.
To use, you can do one of two things: firstly, Lush recommend that you massage this onto your face before removing it gently with a damp cloth. This helps to gently remove dirt while moisturising your skin and leaving it feeling beautiful. I was so impressed with how clean and clear my skin felt, even after the initial use. At the time, I was suffering from an outburst of nasty-looking spots, yet the redness and prominence of these were greatly reduced overnight after I had used this before bed.

For those who suffer from dry complexions, I also find both this and Sweet Japanese Girl work wonders as solid moisturisers. I tend to massage this onto my face and leave it on. At first, your face does feel a little greasy, but within 10-15 minutes the oils have been absorbed into the skin and you're left with beautifully soft and supple-feeling skin. My complexion felt really radiant and nourished after using the cleanser in this way, although I would only recommend doing this once or twice a week, as doing it every day would no doubt clog up your pores with excess oil and make your complexion rather oily.

The only aspect that makes this product a little tricky, is the fact that it melts very easily. Whereas with most massage bars, it takes a few seconds/minutes for your body heat to get to work and melt the oils, this cleanser is incredibly sensitive and you only have to touch it for the oils to transfer onto your skin. For this reason, I'd recommend that you store it somewhere cool and try not to handle it for longer than is needed.

To me, Baby Face smells like white chocolate orange - a beautiful, subtle scent that's equally sexy and uplifting. It reminds me a little of the Merry Xmas Massage Bar Lush released a few years back. With it's versatility and the fact that solid cleansers tend to last a lot longer than their liquid counterparts (a good 3-4 months for me), this is great value and one I hope will make a reappearance in the coming months.

Almond Kisses Facial Moisturiser

Almond Kisses Facial Moisturiser was actually one of the first retro products that I invested in back at the start of last year. I remember being rather surprised and a little shocked at it's £22.95 price tag, as I felt for a 45g tub, this was extremely expensive. Having now used a range of different facial moisturisers, I realise that they're worth their price tag - firstly because they last a good 3+ months, and this is using it twice daily; secondly, if you get a good one, they can do wonders for your complexion.

Lush say that 'around 20 minutes after smoothing Almond Kisses on your skin, your face feels softer, flexible and pliable; your cheeks are gently bouncy like little cushions (in a nice way). It stays that way for hours too! It's the glycerine that makes most of the difference and the almond oil makes it even better.'' I actually agree with this statement.
It's a light and very emollient moisturiser, similar in consistency to Enzymion. But unlike Enzymion, it does tend to take a lot longer to absorb into the skin, meaning that your face does feel somewhat tacky for a while after application. However, it is this aspect of the lotion that makes it perfect for people with dry skin; it keeps it moisturised and moist for a long period of time without making it look or feel greasy.

Almond Kisses is definitely one of the best moisturisers for dry or dehydrated skin as it cleared up my dry patches and left me with a face that glowed night and day. I find that it tends to calm my skin, especially when I have a break out of spots, and it does this without feeling like it's cloying up my pores.

It gives off a strong scent of carnations that, to me, smell as if they're mixed with the nuttiness of almonds and the spice of fresh cloves. The addition of tangerine gives this facial moisturiser a fresh and sultry finish that makes you feel incredibly sexy.
I wish Almond Kisses was a regular product in Lush's range, as I would have liked to alternate between this and Enzymion as my facial moisturisers. Lush also have the body lotion, Potion - a cream that shares the same delicious scent as Almond Kisses. The works wonderfully well on the skin and would be a perfect combination alongside this facial moisturiser, although I'm not sure when Lush will choose to re-release this next. I'm really glad that Lush have brought this out again and I'll be buying a few pots to support and nourish my skin throughout the summer.

Coalface Solid Cleanser

There is something incredibly off-putting about black 'soap'. I don't know whether my concern stems from my less than pleasant experience with Dark Angels, or whether there's an element of fear that black is a rather 'permanent' colour - what would happen if my face was stained after using it? What would happen if I stained my bath/walls etc... after using this? What would happen if I stained....?

Despite my worries, I knew I would have to face it sometime. So after using up the last of my Buche De Noel (*sniff*), I decided to take the plunge and try a piece of Coalface

My Initial thoughts were that it smelt exactly like Dark angels - that slightly sweet and earthy liquorice scent that I wasn't too keen on the first time around. Although you can smell the charcoal as well, it's a very subtle part of the fragrance, hiding behind the prominent hint of rosewood and sandalwood, which stop the soap smelling too potently of aniseed.

In all fairness, I don't think Lush compiled this collection of ingredients for the smell, so I was keen to establish whether, together, these key ingredients could pull off something marvellous for my face. At the forefront is liquorice root, which dominates the smell and is apparently detoxifying for the skin; the powdered charcoal supposedly removes oil while the rosewood and sandalwood oils are in there to make it that little bit softer.

During my first use, a few problems arose. Firstly, the shape of the piece of coalface (which is the generic shape for anyone ordering online), doesn't make it easy for you to apply on your face. I found that there were certain contours that couldn't be reached without a bit of clever manoeuvring on my part. Secondly, the surface is rather gritty, which actually caused me to cut myself. I don't know whether you are supposed to build your face up to using that part but with regular use, I can really see the harshness causing sensitive skin to flare up; I know my face would become very sore and overly exfoliated if I used this every day. Finally, once I'd applied Coalface on my skin and washed it off, my face felt really taut and dry; it was if someone had just sucked the moisture right out of my pores.

Despite all of this, my skin didn't feel too bad once I'd dried myself down and it seemed to work effectively with my facial cleanser (Almond Kisses), even reducing my spot count and keeping them at bay.

Although I had slightly different reactions to this, as opposed to Dark Angels, I don't really notice a difference in what they do to my skin. Both make my complexion feel dry, just like a bad soap would, and both made my skin feel really oily seconds before ridding my skin of moisture altogether! On the positive side, Coalface is definitely not as messy as Dark Angels, which might be why consumers would opt for this over the crumblier alternative.

Despite it not specifically claiming to be for greasy skin, I think this is another product for those who want to reduce the oil in the pores. For someone like me, who doesn't have a lot of moisture to give, this might be too strong. It's not the worst product in the world, and I will continue to use my block until it's diminished. However, it won't be one I use again.

Quantitative Ingredients: Liquorice Root Decoction, Propylene Glycol, Rapeseed Oil and Coconut Oil, Water, Perfume, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Powdered Charcoal, Sandalwood Oil, Rosewood Oil, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, *Geraniol, *Linalool, Silver Edible Lustre.

Enzymion Facial Moisturiser

When did I get to the stage when I need a facial moisturiser in my life? Geez! I remember it wasn't too long ago that I didn't use make-up, let alone products specially designed to rejuvenate facial pores. Still, now that I've introduced them into my life, I'd find it very difficult to do without my morning routine; shower, cleanser, moisturiser, make-up.

As usual, I was skeptical at first about Enzymion, simply because it claims to be a moisturiser for those with oiler skin, which is something I've never suffered from. In fact, as I've mentioned in previous reviews, I actually have very dry skin, so my initial thought was that this moisturiser would actually make my skin even drier. However, as with every Lush product, I refused to make a judgement until I had tried it for myself.

On opening the tub, I was immediately overwhelmed with how beautiful it smells; Enzymion contains papaya juice, lemon juice, aloe, and lime and grapefruit essential oils which give it a wonderful tropic fragrance unlike anything else in the Lush range.

Aside from it's beautiful scent, the fresh ingredients have also been chosen to help make this a multi-purpose moisturiser; the papaya and lemon are packed full of acids and enzymes which help to reduce oiliness and brighten the skin; the multiple oils and cocoa butter have been included to help tone and moisturise the face whilst taking away the 'shine' that oily skin can sometimes present.
As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, I don't have oily skin, so I was worried this product would be too greasy and heavy for me. On the contrary, I was amazed at how light and refreshing my skin felt, even after the initial use, and how my skin continued to glow throughout the entire three months that it took for me to finish the whole tub.

Often products for oily skin focus on cleaning and stripping away oil, whereas Lush have created a product that helps to treat the skin with gentle care and work to find the skin’s own natural balance. I think this latter point is why the lotion worked so well for my skin even though I didn't fit the profile for the product; it's versatile and works with the skin rather than trying to eradicate your body's natural workings.

This beautiful product, inspired by Keats' poem, Endymion, is perhaps the perfect facial moisturiser I have ever used. It tones, hydrates and rejuvenates tired, dry and oily skin whilst leaving an uplifting fruity scent. This will be a product I return to again and again, and one that will become a staple in my house.

If you're planning on trying out one of Lush's moisturisers, make it this one; you won't be disappointed.

Fresh Farmacy Facial Soap

Fresh Farmacy is described by Lush as a "cleansing chamomile and calamine bar for troublesome skin". Although I don't consider my skin to be at all troublesome, I was intrigued to step away from my much-loved Angels On Bare Skin, and try something a little different.

A great aspect about Fresh Farmacy is that, because it's solid, it tends to last a lot longer than other 'wet' alternatives. A 100g block, which cost me £4.75, lasted close to four full months, almost a two month difference when compared to other Lush cleansers. It is also the cheapest option on their site, meaning it's a lot more bang for your buck.

The cleanser is described as a facial soap, which may concern those of you who know how dry and tight a soap can sometimes make your skin feel. Thankfully, Fresh Farmacy leaves your skin fresh and firm but without the tightness that some other soaps normally cause.

Fresh Farmacy has the soft fragrance of rose, tee tree and lavender - a fresh and floral scent that is probably perfectly suited to anyone looking for a light cleanser with minimal smell. Containing calamine powder, which is supposed to calm red blotches and blemishes, chamomile, which helps to calm the skin, and tea tree, which is antibacterial and antiseptic and is meant to help with spots, this is an all-rounded powerhouse of a cleanser.

To use it, you simply have to wet your face, rub all over to create a creamy lather, and then rinse it off. To start with, you may find it easier to rub it between the palm of your hands and then apply it that way, as the shape of a new block can often make it hard to reach the nooks and crevices on your face. The cleanser is very effective at removing makeup, including eye makeup, and makes your skin feel beautiful when coupled with a good facial moisturiser such as Enzymion or Celestial.

A word of warning; I do suggest that you store this bar away from the shower as if it is left in constant contact with any moisture, it will shrink a lot quicker than when kept dry. I patted mine dry after each use, which is probably why mine lasted so long.

After using this cleanser for a month, I've noticed that my skin felt smoother and firmer, and I had fewer blemishes around my chin, which I consider to be my 'problem area'. It hasn't stopped me getting a few spots but I blame this on my excessive soda consumption!

When I was using this, I applied it twice a day, and found that it was slightly drying. This wasn't so much a problem as I coupled it with my facial moisturiser and my skin was fine. However, I'm unsure whether my skin will remain as forgiving in the cold winter months, when I notice my skin gets incredibly dry and damaged.

Overall I'm very impressed with this cleanser. It's good value for money, doesn't irritate my skin, leaving it generally clear and free from blemishes. I'm happy with it, although for now, I plan on sticking to my regulars: Angels On Bare Skin and Buche De Noel.

Quantitative Ingredients: Calamine Powder, Propylene Glycol, Chamomile Decoction, Elderflower Decoction, Rapeseed Oil and Coconut Oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Water, Lavender Oil, Chamomile Blue Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Rose Absolute, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume.

Celestial Facial Moisturiser

A year ago, I wouldn't have ever considered using face masks and facial cleansers and moisturisers. In fairness to my skin, the only issue I have with my face (apart from the big bags under my tired eyes), is that I occasionally break out in spots after eating too much junk food. And the solution to this? Eat less junk! I certainly wouldn't have thought that I would become reliant on a £10+ cleanser to smear all over my face.

However, my perfectionism means that not only am I intent on purchasing every Vegan Lush product ever made, but I also have to test them out - creating a situation where I might find products I want to use again! Celestial is one such product.

Lush describe this moisturiser as 'a heavenly moisturiser to make sensitive skin happy. Although it's true that some perfumes can irritate sensitive skin, like stronger spice oils, others are really good for preventing redness and reactions. Natural vanilla absolute is one of them. We use it in Celestial for its soothing effect and intoxicating scent. The dove orchid is used in Chinese herbalism to prevent inflammation; it is the only orchid with a delicate and delightful scent. Almond milk is also wonderful for calming the skin.'

Celestial is a beautiful creamy moisturiser that smells of fresh vanilla and nothing else. If you're someone who doesn't like heavy smells, this is one for you. What I love about the vanilla smell here is that it's not cloying like some vanillas can be - instead it offers a light, refreshing sweetness that is rather pleasant.

If you're worried about lotions clogging up your skin, this is one that might appeal to you. It's a wonderfully light lotion that doesn't feel heavy or greasy on your face. It's been formulated to create a light barrier on the skin to stop the loss of moisture and keep sensitive skin feeling calm. Even though I don't consider my skin to be sensitive, I have noticed that my face definitely feels more moisturised and rejuvenated since using it.

While it did feel heavy for the first couple of seconds after application, it didn't take long for the lotion to be absorbed into my skin, and I discovered that it left a wonderful barrier of moisture across my complexion that made my skin feel plumper, more radiant and protected by the cold elements that threatened to dry out my skin every time I left the house.

£12+ might seem like a steep price tag for such a small tub, but having used it daily, a pot still lasts me upwards of six months. It is silky smooth and sinks into your skin without it feeling heavy or clogged and removes all dryness from my skin. I apply it after my 6am shower and I could still feel the effects of Celestial when I got home after 7pm. It also helped to keep my make up in place by acting as primer for my complexion - double whammy!

Although there are many other facial moisturisers that I plan on trialling over the coming months, this is definitely one I'll go back to and use again. I'm definitely interested in hearing about how it works for those of you with dry or sensitive skin.
