When I was going through the horrific bout of insomnia last year, I desperately reached out to every corner of the earth to find a product or a method to make the problem go away. While I was determined to rid myself of the clutches of non-sleep I was living in, I wasn't prepared to take medicine or anything that would change the chemicals in my body.
I was lucky enough to find a few tubs of Dream Time Temple Balm when visiting the Kingston Lush store, and it was only after I brought it home that I realised these little tubs were only available from Lush Spas - what a great little find!

Dream Time shares it's scent with the bath melt of the same name - a fusion of lavender, ginger, sandalwood, chamomile and jasmine. This balm has rather strange aroma - a gentle but natural lavender fragrance with a very subtle spicy kick of ginger. The chamomile and sandalwood notes merge together so you get this very light woody scent while the jasmine rounds it off with a sweet base. It's far from an offensive scent so even if you're not a fan of some or all of the ingredients, you might still be able to use this temple balm without hating the smell.
Dream Time releases a blend of fragrances specifically designed to help calm the mind and ease aches. Chamomile blue and lavender oils induce sleepiness, while also soothing sensitive skin. Ginger is warming and eases tired muscles, while the exotic scent of sandalwood is used as an anti-depressant in aromatherapy.

Overall, I cannot say it's a miracle worker but it definitely does affect you in some way. It's a handy product to carry around with you if you want something soothing to sniff throughout the day. It's not a product I will run out and purchase again, but I will enjoy my tub whilst it lasts.
