Verdict:

What's not to love about a cocktail based mostly around the Snow Showers, fragrance? The only reason you would not get overly excited by this prospect is if you don't have the privilege of knowing what this scent family smells like, and then I highly suggest that you make a swift purchase of the Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic and lose yourself in this timeless aroma.

As the very first cocktail to make itself onto my list, this is one that is very special to me, and one I've been holding off from trying for a good many months now. During the times I did fancy trying it out, I had to relinquish the thought because I just didn't have a fresh Golden Wonder that I wanted to put to good use. With the Christmas season now upon us, this problem has been rectify.

Comprised of comforting sweet wild orange oil, uplifting bergamot, softening cornflour and plenty of gold lustre, Gold FUN is a gorgeous bar that offers a sweet and fruity layer to your bath. After crumbling it under the running tap, this multi-purpose product will offer you a generous helping of fragrant bubbles and a scent that's strong enough to stay with you throughout the entire experience.

Designed to smell like an old Lush favourite, Golden Wonder Ballistic is up next - a bath bomb that contains a mixture of sweet orange oil, cognac oil and lime oil – three components that offer a delicious citrusy concoction guaranteed to perk up anyone suffering from the winter blues. This is definitely the strongest element in the bath, but the FUN adds an extra layer of fruity goodness that you can detect as well.

This bomb also turns your bath water into a stunning haven of turquoise - littering the surface with sparkly stars and adding a generous helping of lustre that swirls and pulsates under the surface of the water. To look at, this cocktail is stunning, and definitely one I would use again to banish those winter blues.

To pad out the experience of Golden Celebration, you should use Snowshowers Jelly to wash yourself with and Celebrate Body Lotion to moisturise your skin with afterwards. Both of these products share their scent with Golden Wonder and will leave you feeling and smelling like a human bottle of champagne.

While this is a Christmas-themed experienced, it is definitely a bath you can enjoy across the whole year. With a pile of Golden Wonders and an endless supply of Gold FUN to use up this year, this cocktail is the perfect remedy to do just that.

    1. Hey lovely, in all fairness, I don't keep many soaps, and the ones I do keep I wrap individually in cling film and then just pop them in a drawer - somewhere cool that'll keep them nice and fresh!
