Astronomical Gift Set

In all fairness, I really don't have the room for anymore gift boxes but I couldn't resist picking up this limited edition collection from the Oxford Street Store. Not only does it contain a wonderful selection of products that show the full extent of what's available in the company's biggest shop, but it's also presented in such a stunning way that it stands out a mile when sitting alongside some of the other collections available.

Astronomical will set you back £21.95, which although is more expensive than buying all five of these products individually, is worth it due to the beautiful wrapping and reusable box that they all come in. Featuring five limited edition beauties, this box set is for those who like the sweeter things in life.

This gift set features:
100g bar of Purple FUN
100g bottle of Comforter Shower Cream
I Am A Radiant Being Bath Oil

Aside from bath bomb, all of the featured products follow a specific theme; the shower cream offers consumers the very popular blackcurrant and cassis absolute fragrance; the Purple FUN offers a scent that is reminiscent of The Comforter Shower Gel but has its own smell not unlike summer fruits squash; the bath oil is a sweet and citrusy delight; and the soap gives off an incredible fruity smell that makes it one of the best soaps that Lush have ever created. While the bath bomb stands out like a sore thumb with it's mint aroma, it does compliment the theme of this set because of both its name and its colour.

This is a perfect little gift for those that want to sample some of Lush's best-selling limited edition products. It features enough here for a couple of incredible baths as well as a good month worth of showering supplies to see you through until your next visit.

For those who don't live close enough to indulge in shopping regularly at the Oxford Street store, this is a gift set that'll bring the magic home to you. I would happily buy this for any one of my friends around the globe and it'll give them a wonderful slice of what the flagship store has on offer for those fortunate enough to grace the shop.

Vegan?: Yes.

2015 Price: £21.95 each.

    1. Sorry I've only just responded - I seem to have missed this comment! I'm sure you know the answer to this already, but the only difference is that the bath oil is just a little more compact and the oils have solidified. The bath melts have a range of butters and oils that don't harden as much :)

  4. I'm fairly new to your blog but I just wanted to leave a little note to say your reviews are awesome - they really give the reader a honest view and they've made me so so excited to visit Oxford Street in August!

  5. Hi! I got this gift set today as a birthday present, but mine contained Intergalactic Bath Bomb, The Experimenter, The Comforter Shower Cream and Aliens and Monsters fun. Does this gift set just differ or have the contents of the box been changed?

    1. I have tried a couple of the Japanese showers, a few soaps and and a scrub, and it's true when they say that the Japanese stuff is so much better! The products are more vibrant, they're far stronger in scent and just seem to be of better quality. Enjoy your time there and definitely appreciate their products!
